Description VeinLite LEDX VeinLite LEDX had redeveloped its brightest lighting technology to further improve viewing of veins to the best ultra-portable system on the market, whilst still using the two standard LED colours for optimized vein imaging. Featuring a wider opening, a larger viewing area and 32 LED’s, the LEDX model has a deeper focus for viewing varicose and spider veins and is the ideal model for use on overweight and obese patients. With 24 orange and 8 red LED’s, this rechargeable vein finder is a varicose vein mapping and access device used which provides the highest contrast imaging for fast and efficient sclerotherapy treatments. VeinLite LEDX’s deeper focus and dark red LED’s facilitate better visualisation of deeper and feeder veins. This device has the largest viewing area of illumination (by 10mm) which improves viewing by speeding up vein location and sclerotherapy treatments. VeinLite LEDX is held against the skin and shows vein structures through transillumination. It secures the vein in place and stretches the skin for easy needle insertion – without any guess work and superficial veins can be seen and accessed anywhere on the body. Once the varicose veins are identified, the C-shaped opening enables direct access for sclerosant injection. The affordable disposable plastic covers that come with the VeinLite (and can be purchased separately through his website) are used to prevent patient-to-provider, patient-to-patient contamination and to protect the device from contamination.
